xkanon (English)

A patched version of Jagarl's AVG32 clone xkanon. Based largely on Arkazam's xkanon-akz, but with additional bug fixes.

Kurokoge (English)

A patched version of Kurokoge, the MacOS X port of Kenjo's AVG32 clone Waffle. The linked binary has been tested on Panther, but should apparently run on Jaguar as well.

There are some known issues with this release. Firstly, it will not run at all unless you have already run the Japanese original once (see link on Kanon project page). Secondly, music and voices will not be played..

To install, first copy the game CD to a folder on your hard disk, then copy kurokoge.app into the same folder.

Full source code (for xcode) is available here (232 kb). The changes are also available separately as a patch (6 kb), if you wish to build from one of the CodeWarrior Kurokoges, or to attempt a conversion of the original Classic version of Waffle, or any of the Waffle derivatives for other platforms (note that this covers source code changes only, you will have to modify resources separately).

A translated version of the Kanon installation program. If you're having trouble installing the game in Japanese, this might be just what you're looking for. (Note that this only works with the CD version of the game, not the DVD re-releases.)

vAVG32 (English)

A translated version of the vAVG32 voice patch installer. This package only contains the program and documentation; you'll need the patch files from the Japanese vAVG32, and of course you'll need to get the voice data off your PS2 or Dreamcast disc somehow too.
